How to qualify

To qualify for a smart thermostat rebate, you must:

  • Be an Enbridge Gas customer with an active account and primarily heat your home with a natural gas furnace or boiler OR be connected to the Ontario electricity grid and heat or cool your home electrically.‡

  • Have not previously received a smart thermostat rebate, discount or device from Enbridge Gas, Save on Energy or the Whole Home Savings program.

  • Live in a single/semi-detached home, row/townhome or mobile home on a permanent foundation.

How to get your rebates

Before you buy

  1. Apply for your $75 instant rebate by clicking the Get code button.
  2. Once you receive your code by email, shop in-store at The Home Depot or online at Best Buy, Google, Copeland Sensi or ecobee. Use the code at checkout to receive $75 off your purchase.
  3. Install your smart thermostat and connect to Wi-Fi to save energy. For installation and setup instructions, see below.

  1. Purchase an eligible smart thermostat from any retailer.
  2. Apply for your $75 rebate by clicking the Apply for rebate button. Upload your receipt within 60 days of purchase to receive your rebate.
  3. Install your smart thermostat and connect to Wi-Fi to save energy. For installation and setup instructions, see below.
